Netted Golf Enclosures: Maximizing Practice Safety and Performance

In the world of golf and other sports, having a designated practice area is crucial for improving skills and performance.

At Gorilla Netting, we design, engineer, and install custom netting systems for golf enclosures that are both durable and visually pleasing.

Our team can design and build a netted golf enclosure to suit your specific needs, whether you require a small practice cage or a full-size golf range enclosure.

What a netted golf enclosure includes

  • Full 360-degree containment with top, side, and back netting
  • Individual bays within the enclosure, for maximum use of the enclosed area
  • Indoor enclosures that can be set up, retracted, or even stored when not in use

The Benefits of Gorilla Netting Systems

  • Breakaway netting. Optional patented technology that allows netting panels to detach safely under excess load, protecting your poles, cables, and the integrity of the entire system. See breakaway netting systems.
  • Cost-effective. By reducing the need for constant replacement due to wear and tear, our systems are a durable and reliable investment in the long run.
  • Low maintenance. With minimal maintenance required, our systems offer a hassle-free solution for golf range owners looking to upgrade their facilities.

What Happens After You Call

Here's what a typical schedule looks like, from first call to final walkthrough.

  1. 01

    Site info and quote

    3 to 5 business days

Send dimensions, photos, a site plan if available, and a description of the containment goal. Remote estimating from photos and plans is valid for most projects. A site visit isn't always required at the quote stage.

  2. 02

    Engineering review

    1 to 2 weeks

Pole design, cable sizing, foundation specs, and wind-load documentation are finalized. Facilities requiring stamped drawings for permitting receive those as part of this deliverable.

  3. 03

    Material lead time

    2 to 4 weeks

Standard knotless netting and galvanized cable are typically in the shorter range. Custom mesh specifications or specialty pole fabrication push toward the longer end.

  4. 04

    Installation

    3 to 7 days

Most projects install in 3 to 7 days. Larger projects can take 2 weeks or more, and we set that schedule with you up front. We phase work around your operating schedule so you stay open where you can.

  5. 05

    Tensioning and walkthrough

    1 day

Panels are tensioned to the span and load, then we walk the system with you, confirm the scope is complete, and hand over warranty sign-off. One phone number, one warranty.

Times vary with project size. Your schedule is confirmed with your quote.

A note on permitting

The owner or general contractor submits the permit application. We provide stamped engineering drawings to support that application. We don't handle permitting on behalf of owners, but we give you everything you need to move it through.

Netted Golf Enclosures FAQ

What is included in a netted golf enclosure installation?

Enclosures include overhead and side panels, bay dividers where needed, entry treatment, structural poles or building attachments, and engineered cable grids for indoor or outdoor practice cages, from single-stall cages to full-size range enclosures.

Can golf enclosures be installed indoors?

Yes. We design retractable or fixed indoor enclosures with attachment to building steel or freestanding frames, mesh sized for repeated impact, and layouts that maximize bay count in warehouse or training-center footprints.

Do you install golf enclosures nationwide?

Yes. Gorilla Netting is a US-based specialty contractor headquartered in Florida with field operations in Kentucky. Our crews mobilize to turnkey install sites across the United States and internationally. Location is not a barrier.

How can I get pricing for a golf enclosure?

Request a project quote at gorillanetting.com/get-quote or call 1-800-274-1079. Pricing is scope-based after we review site layout, heights, materials, and access, not a flat per-foot rate.
