Gorilla Netting traveled to Seattle, Washington to replace two deteriorating poles and install new netting across approximately 60' x 129' of driving range enclosure at Puetz Driving Range. The project addressed structurally compromised poles that had been increasingly unstable.
Client: Puetz Driving Range
Location: Seattle, WA
Services: Driving Range Netting
Challenge
Two of Puetz Driving Range's main structural poles were swaying significantly and required replacement, along with the netting they supported. A site visit confirmed one panel of back-right netting was beyond repair, pole anchor points were blocked by overgrown brush, and the entry gate width (11'10") created equipment access constraints.
Solution
Gorilla Netting replaced two structural poles — one at 61' span, one at 67' span, both at 70' height — and installed new netting across approximately 60' x 129' using UV-treated polyester netting with all appropriate hardware. Old netting was hauled off-site; old pole sections were sectioned and left along the fence line per client request. Anchor points on the far side of a city fence were accessed through a coordinated gate arrangement, with brush trimmed prior to crew arrival. Additional repair days were built into the schedule to address any further in-field conditions encountered during the project. Scope included demolition and removal of the existing compromised netting before the new system was installed.
Outcome
Puetz Driving Range received a structurally sound, freshly netted enclosure with the two compromised poles fully replaced and anchored, extending the working life of the facility's infrastructure.
