Matrix Research in Beavercreek, Ohio needed an outdoor space to fly drones. Gorilla Netting built a netted drone enclosure on six new steel poles, the first private drone flight enclosure in the region.

Matrix Research needed secure, reliable drone containment that could handle its testing work and stand up to wind, rain, and temperature swings outdoors.

The enclosure also had to keep both the drones and the surrounding area safe.

What we built

The system we designed and installed

Gorilla Netting designed and installed a custom netted drone enclosure measuring 120 ft long, 60 ft wide, and 50 ft high, framed by six new steel poles.

Treated knotted nylon netting is secured to the poles with powerline and utility-grade hardware and wire rope, with every netting panel custom built for the site.
