AfterDaytona State College in Daytona Beach, Florida needed new barrier netting around its baseball facility. Working through general contractor SGC Fields, Gorilla Netting designed and installed four netting sections totaling nearly 700 linear feet, with no down guys.

The work ran through a construction manager and called for precise sizing across four separate sections, and the specification ruled out down guys.

The system we designed and installed
Gorilla Netting designed and installed four baseball barrier netting sections: 132 ft by 20 ft, 173 ft by 20 ft, 190 ft by 20 ft, and 202 ft by 40 ft.
Together they cover nearly 700 linear feet at varying heights. Per the project specification, every section stands without down guys, and the systems were engineered to meet applicable wind code requirements.
