The challenge

What the center needed

South Florida Wildlife Center's outdoor enclosure is covered by an overhead net canopy on wood poles, with netted walls around a pool and animal pens. Gorilla Netting walked the site with the center's staff in December 2020 to look at the overhead net.

What we built

The system we designed and installed

On the February 2021 work day, the crew worked from a boom lift along the overhead net line and at the pole tops where the net panels meet, on the rope and cable grid that carries the canopy.

The outcome

What it means for the center

The center's overhead canopy and netted walls stay in place over the pool and pens.
