Perimeter Sports Netting Repair and Mending at Putnam Park, Palm Harbor, FL

The existing sports netting was torn and severely decayed after years of exposure to the elements and a lack of maintenance.

Overgrown vegetation had damaged the netting further and stood in the way of any repair. Heavy rainfall also kept the crew from reaching the site for several weeks.

The first step was an extensive clean-up, removing the vegetation overgrowth so the crew could see how badly the netting was damaged.

Once the weather improved, the crew repaired and mended the torn and decayed netting to extend its life until the city could budget for the next phase.

Phase two, once the City of Palm Harbor allocates the budget, replaces the repaired system with new sports netting and hardware and adds an extension on the west end of the field.
