AfterAfterGreen Chasers Driving Range in Zephyrhills, Florida needed a complete driving range netting enclosure. Gorilla Netting designed and installed a 1,100 ft primary enclosure at 60 ft above grade with a breakaway system, plus a 90 ft by 30 ft secondary section.
The challenge
What the range was up against
The range needed a new enclosure to protect the surrounding property and define its boundaries. The layout called for about 23 poles along the left and right boundaries, and trees on the right side had to be trimmed back to get a straight netting line.
What we built
The system we designed and installed
Gorilla Netting installed a 1,100 ft by 60 ft primary enclosure on about 23 poles, with a breakaway system designed to reduce load on the structure during storms.
A secondary 90 ft by 30 ft netting section completes the enclosure. The left boundary runs 100 ft on its own, and the full right side was trimmed and aligned so the netting runs straight.
AfterThe outcome
What it means for the range
Green Chasers now has a full perimeter enclosure that protects the property around the range and supports full commercial driving range operations, with a breakaway system built to shed load when storms come through.
