Gorilla Netting completed a full driving range netting system replacement at Deer Valley Golf Range, removing the existing deteriorated system and installing a new engineered pole and netting system along the South Range adjacent to Holcomb Bridge Road.
Client: Deer Valley Golf Range
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Services: Driving Range Netting
Challenge
Deer Valley's South Range featured an outdated, makeshift netting system with 50' poles sister-poled up to 75' — a configuration the owner described as a problematic inheritance. Three to four of the existing poles were broken or cracked, with temporary guide wires the only thing preventing a full system collapse. The client also wanted to extend the netting coverage by an additional 150' beyond the existing 400' run.
Solution
Gorilla Netting removed the existing 400' x 75' system and installed a new engineered driving range netting system at 550' in length, reaching up to 100' in height with engineered wood poles and down guys. The new system extended coverage to areas of the range previously unprotected. Pricing was also provided for an option to relocate the old poles elsewhere on the range without netting. A change order was subsequently executed to address additional scope items.
Outcome
The completed system replaced a structurally compromised netting installation with a professionally engineered, code-compliant barrier that protects the full length of the South Range. Gorilla Netting returned to the site across multiple phases between 2024 and 2025 to complete the work, delivering a durable, long-term solution for the facility.
