DuringDeer Valley Golf Range in Alpharetta, Georgia needed a full netting replacement on its South Range, which runs along Holcomb Bridge Road. Gorilla Netting removed the deteriorated system and installed a new engineered pole and netting system.
The challenge
What the range was up against
The South Range was protected by an outdated, makeshift system: 50 ft poles sister-poled up to 75 ft, a setup the owner called a problematic inheritance. Three to four of the poles were broken or cracked, and temporary guide wires were the only thing keeping the system from collapsing.
The client also wanted to extend coverage by another 150 ft beyond the existing 400 ft run.
What we built
The system we designed and installed
Gorilla Netting took down the old 400 ft by 75 ft system and installed a new engineered driving range netting system 550 ft long and up to 100 ft high, built on engineered wood poles with down guys.
The longer run extends protection to parts of the range that had no coverage before. Gorilla also priced an option to relocate the old poles elsewhere on the range without netting, and a change order covered additional scope items.

A structurally compromised system held up by temporary guide wires is gone. In its place is a professionally engineered, code-compliant barrier that protects the full length of the South Range, built to last for the long term.
