Palmetto Little League plays at Blackstone Park in Palmetto, Florida. Gorilla Netting designed, engineered, and installed a new backstop and perimeter baseball netting system, 350 ft long and 35 ft high, on new wood poles.

What the ballpark was up against

The park needed its netting to protect spectators from foul balls while keeping a clear view of the game.

The work also had to happen around scheduled games and events, keeping downtime and inconvenience to patrons as low as possible.

What we built

The system we designed and installed

Gorilla Netting set new wood poles and hung a 350 ft long, 35 ft high baseball netting system of knotless polyester netting.

The netting is secured with powerline and utility-grade hardware and wire rope, and every netting panel was custom built for this installation.

Blackstone Park has a new 350 ft by 35 ft backstop and perimeter netting system on new wood poles, with custom-built knotless polyester panels, powerline and utility-grade hardware, and wire rope, protecting spectators from foul balls under a full 5-year warranty on netting, materials, and labor.
