What the field needed
West Las Vegas Middle School was building a new field beside its gym and football stadium, and it needed perimeter netting around it. The work ran in November and December 2021, while the general contractor was still grading the field.
What we built
The system we designed and installed
The footings were augered and drilled, and the crew set roughly 30 steel poles in concrete, holding each one plumb during the pour.
The crew then strung top cables between the poles, hung black knotted netting from them on snap clips, laced it to each pole, and clipped it to a bottom cable at grade, forming at least two netted enclosures side by side.
AfterThe outcome
What it means for the school
The school's new field is lined with perimeter netting on steel poles.
