According to arrest warrants, Kadeem Laron Cobb tried to furnish a prisoner at the Pelzer prison with contraband by throwing footballs with the prohibited items inside, which included marijuana, cell phones, and tobacco.

Cobb was in possession of 41.9 grams of marijuana he was trying to distribute inside Perry Correctional, the warrants state.

He was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute, trespassing on South Carolina Department of Corrections property and attempting to furnish a prisoner with contraband.
